What started as a project in 2005 replacing window treatments mushroomed into a whole house remodel! Being totally green to this process. Kris was more that just an interior designer. First of all, she is an impeccable designer. She listens very well and always offers alternatives. She took the effort to get to know me, my personality, and my lifestyle, how I saw the house being used. One invaluable service was educating me about interior design concepts. It was overwhelming at first, but in the end I learned a lot. She was involved in the whole process from beginning to end. She also completely furnished my house, while being mindful of my budget.

She provided valuable advice and encouragement that touched upon dealing with the architect and contractors, as well as the stress the building process generated. There were so many decisions and so much information that I often was confused of the decisions made. Kris was always on top of the details. For example, Kris noticed a framing issue that was not according to the plans. Neither the builder nor I caught it. We had it torn down and constructed correctly. Of all the individuals that worked on my project, Kris was always there as an advocate.

In the end, when all of the construction details were through, and all you see is the finish, it turned out stunningly beautiful! I have had so many compliments on the house. I am very satisfied how it turned out.
